UPDATE 03/17/19 All grates have been updated to feature slightly larger openings, ensuring that if placed throughout a Kenner playset as a stand, the playset's pegs will seamlessly fit into the openings. The tab holding the carbonite has also been adjusted back slightly because the carbonite was leaning forward. Additional stands for the carbonite allow it to face left and right, while pegs accommodate figures. This piece is designed specifically for the Carbonite Chamber in "The Empire Strikes Back" on Bespin Cloud City. It's a conversion part for transforming the original Kenner Death Star Playset into a Bespin playset. This item fits perfectly on the top hatch above the trash compactor, where the ring fits snugly into the hatch opening and the grate holds Han in Carbonite. The grate can be placed over the opening to display Han. I modeled this piece to fit a reproduction carbonite, but it's likely from the Kenner mold. Hasbro reproduced many ships in the late 90s with slight variations, such as paint/stickers, moving parts, and electronics. Everything fits together nicely as printed with PLA on a QIDI dual extrusion printer.
