To lower replica 70cm Bertoia chrome chairs by 55mm, I designed two mitre blocks as jigs for precise angle cutting - one for the 81.5-degree front legs and another for the 76.5-degree rear legs (though only one is necessary). Additionally, an end cap was created to replace a damaged chair leg component. My blog at teslaandi.wordpress.com features more images and discussion on this project.
