Bernis simple ninja enabled Mk 7 3d printing bowden extruder
thingiverse
I love Bernie's simple design so much that I remixed it to fit the Mk VII wheel perfectly. However, the original remix was a tad too simple, and running Ninjaflex with it caused a major issue - it made a yarn in the extruder. In my new remix, I added a 3.5 mm tall "Tab" to guide the filament into the bowden tube. As you can see from the pictures, it worked flawlessly even when I used my old Printrbot+ settings. The design is still easy on the eyes and functional at the same time. Here are the print settings that worked well for me: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: P3Steelwide Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Whatever you desire, or .2 mm if you prefer a more precise print. Infill Percentage: I used 25%, but it doesn't really matter much in this case. Notes: The model comes with supports, which is actually a good thing - it makes the print more reliable and less prone to errors.
