Collection of selected gravestones from Užupio Cemetery or also known as Bernardine Cemetery. (Lithuanian: Bernardinų kapinės, Polish: Cmentarz Bernadyński), is one of the three oldest cemeteries in Vilnius, Lithuania. It covers approximately thirty-eight thousand square meters and has an estimated fourteen thousand burial sites. Established in eighteen ten by the Bernardine monks of the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, just east of the city center in the Užupis district, it is situated on a river embankment. Its development was a direct result of Tsarist authorities of the Russian Empire prohibiting burials near churches. Residents of Vilnius relocated the cemetery to what was then the outskirts of the city. Models are available separately here on sketchfab; check my other models online.
