Copper-alloy Nauheim derivative brooch dating from circa AD25 to 100 is an intact piece consisting of a bow, catchplate, chord, and pin. Each component is fully preserved. The bow showcases symmetrical rows of punched marks running down either side. A solid catchplate supports the entire mechanism. Four coils comprise the chord's structure. A uniform dark green patina covers its surface. This particular brooch represents the most common form of Nauheim derivative found within a specific region. The mentioned artifact is locally confined to Hampshire, Berkshire, Silchester, and Lowbury Hill areas. Mackreth (2011) documented this piece in detail on page 15, plate 10, number 4014. This brooch measures 54.1mm in length, 9.8mm in width, and weighs 3.9 grams. It falls under the Nauheim derivative category with a subclass of 2.c.
