Beretta Bobcat Magazine Base Pad

Update 8/19/2021: I modified the base of both pads to better fit the magazine base plate. I found the last version was a little too tight a fit, particularly on the newer magazines. Update 8/14/2021: I modified the shape of the nose of the flat magazine base pad so it blends with the frame better and is also more comfortable. I also molded the hole in the base for convenience. In addition, I also added an extended version of the base pad to allow use of the little finger on the grip. I recommend printing this version flat side down and use supports. You can print it flat side up with supports but the surface finish where your finger rests is not a comfortable. Finally, just in case you lose the little base spring retainer (don't ask how I know this is possible), I've included a printable replacement. I printed it "2-pin side" down with supports with good results. Original: The Beretta Bobcat magazine is a flush base design, and sometimes it doesn't seat securely without extra care to push it all the way in. A base pad makes it much easier to securely seat the magazine. I did not included the base plate release hole in the design. I removed the base plate from the magazine and installed it in the base pad. It is a tight fit and you may need to carefully use a punch or pliers to fully seat the base plate in the base pad. Then drill the hole in the base pad, using the hole in the base plate as a drill guide. Check to be sure that the magazine seats and latches after the base pad in installed. If it doesn't latch securely, carefully sand the base pad where it is hitting the frame to add clearance so it latches. It works on my gun without sanding but other guns/magazines may be slightly different. Print the base pad with the bottom of the base pad resting on the build plate. This is opposite what is shown in the rendering. This way, no supports are required and you get the best finish. I also used extra perimeters and top layers to get the best and strongest possible interface with the base plate.
