Beretta 92 +2 mag extension

**NOT YET PRINTED** **IN DEVELOPMENT PHASE** A +2 magazine extension designed specifically for current production 15-round magazines. I observed that the 17-round magazines are only slightly longer than their 15-round counterparts, differing by approximately 0.150 inches. This discovery sparked the creation of a design concept comparing and measuring both types of magazines. The follower in the 15-round magazine is notably longer than its counterpart in the 17-round model. However, it's the guide protrusion within the spring coil that limits capacity on the follower. By potentially shaving down this protrusion, it may be possible to increase travel distance without compromising functionality. In essence, without modifying the bottom of the follower, this extension may only provide a +1 increase in magazine capacity. This project is ongoing and subject to revision. If successful, I intend to utilize these extensions on my factory 15-round magazines for 3-gun competitions, thus leveling the playing field with my other 17-round mags.
