Berdair Mount with Vibration Suspension
thingiverse
Berdair Anti Vibration Mount ====================== This mount is designed for the Berdair system, serving as a crucial component to decouple the vibrating pump from the printer's frame. To enhance the cooling performance of the pump, two large Noctua 80mm fans have been added. The pump tends to run extremely hot, and these fans provide necessary airflow to keep it cool. The mount is specifically designed to be attached to a 3030 extrusion, allowing for both vertical and horizontal orientations. Strong enough rubber bands are included for secure attachment. 20mm diameter rubber bands are used in pairs for each mount, enabling versatile mounting options that cater to both horizontal and vertical orientations. Build Instructions ============ Please refer to the File "Berdair_Case_Assembly.pdf" for detailed exploded views of the parts and a comprehensive guide on screw placement. The assembly process is surprisingly straightforward and easy to follow. Print instructions -------------- The entire mount was printed in PETG, but users can opt for any filament they prefer. PLA or ABS should work seamlessly without any issues.
