Berd Air Tube Bending and Drilling Jigs
prusaprinters

Just a tube bending tool I designed for a Berd Air system. All the ones I downloaded and tried either failed partway through a bend or just failed completely. So I took principles from commercial tube bending tools and designed my own, and this works flawlessly.

This tool is designed for 3/32" tube. The drilling jig makes holes nine degrees downward, rather than having them 45 or 90 degrees like I usually saw. In theory this lower angle should make it easier to adjust the height of the shroud and to focus the air to directly under the nozzle, especially useful for lower-profile nozzles like E3D's. I haven't had the chance to test it's performance, but it should perform well.

Supplies and instructions on how to use both jigs and are here: https://www.instructables.com/Berd-Air-Tube-Bender/

For the bending jigs 0.2 mm layers, 20% infill, and 3 perimeters is good. For the drilling jigs though, use 0.1 mm layers, 20% infill, 4 perimeters, and a 0.4 mm extrusion width. These are not suggestions; please use these settings for the best results.
