It's almost impossible to buy a support for our Renault that can hold the big portable of my wife. The MOTOROLA G5 has an extra case, making it very thick. The clip is simply pushed onto the middle console. The phone box is secured to the clip with an M5x20 screw and nut. Everything works perfectly. The STEP file is attached as required. Update: I made a few changes to the phone box (new file: phonebox2.stl, with lightening holes and 0.5mm wider). 01.01.2020: Update: I moved the phone box to a more driver-oriented position (phonebox3.stl). Because I obey my wife (occasionally):) 04.01.2020: New update: Since my wife is an old rally pilot, I need an additional mount. It will be fixed in two holes of the clip and secured with double-sided tape on the dashboard. A small error in the phone box has also been corrected. It's not easy to secure something in a car when your own wife is a former rally driver. So, an extra strip had to be installed that reaches into two holes in the clip and is secured with double-sided tape on the dashboard. A small mistake in the phone box was also fixed. 19.01.2020: I added a box for the SAMSUNG S7. The phone is also secured with clips. 07.04.2020: Since it's getting a bit warmer again: Using PLA for the clip wasn't a good idea. I think it's better to use PETG or another material that isn't sensitive to temperature.
