BennyModz Nerf Longshot Breech for BrassBreech
thingiverse
This design draws inspiration from the fléchette spectre. As a designer, I've taken into account the use of a 0.6 nozzle diameter, and as a result, this model can accommodate nozzles with diameters ranging from 0.4 to 0.6 for printing walls that are thicker, potentially making them slightly stronger. The Breech design is engineered to fit snugly within an aluminium plungertube, with the outer diameter of the back part measuring 33.9mm. The Breech is specifically designed to accommodate a 19/32 brass size, making it much easier to build a brass breech compared to previous methods that required cutting and gluing on brass, which was quite a hassle. To achieve a secure fit, you can utilize longshot stock oring, but be sure to use two of them. Important Notes: 1. If the model appears oversized in your slicer, scale it down from 100% to 10%, effectively reducing the new scale to 10%. 2. For optimal results when printing this design, consider using Cura slicer, as it will ensure that the entire 100% is covered without any issues. While I'm not aware of other slicers that might work, Cura has been my go-to choice and has produced reliable results.
