I acquired a pre-owned Benecken E41 German electric locomotive in gauge 1 scale. The factory-built version lacked cab details, so I designed and printed this customized replacement. It's not entirely prototypical, particularly the rear wall of the cab, due to my lack of reference images for that area. I also aimed to blend the internal supports with the logo without making significant alterations. Originally, finding room for the dashboard over and around the existing headlight mount proved challenging; I didn't want to replace it. Furthermore, I opted not to model the speedometer on a separate post. Additional features include mounting positions for seats in the floor, but I wanted to keep assembly straightforward. Incorporating the seats would have added complexity to an already difficult fit.
