I gave my folks a heartfelt sign of respect on Christmas 2016. This tradition has been passed down from my grandparents and parents, who instilled it in me as a valuable family custom. When I was young, I would say "Bendicion Mama" and "Bendicion Papa" to show love and gratitude to Mom and Dad every morning when I woke up, and every night before bed.
