Bender with opening chest cabinet

This model of Bender boasts an innovative chest design featuring a hinged door that opens effortlessly as a single piece. I envisioned it as the perfect canvas to experiment with new filaments and push the boundaries of 3D printing technology. The images showcase this model in various materials, including Ninjaflex, glow-in-the-dark, and magnetic iron filament, each highlighting its versatility and unique characteristics. Print Settings: * Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro * Rafts: Yes * Supports: Yes * Resolution: .2mm * Infill: 5-15% Notes: I highly recommend printing this model lying down on its back to ensure a seamless printing experience. Although it can be printed vertically, doing so significantly complicates the process of opening the cabinet door and removing support material. Post-Printing Challenges: The print settings and material used may affect the difficulty of opening the chest door. To overcome this challenge, I suggest running a box cutter along the edges of the door to release the support material, then carefully prying it open using a gentle touch. A word of caution: magnetic iron filament, although remarkably impressive, proved brittle during testing. When opening the cabinet door, I observed that the hinge separated slightly from the rest of the model, underscoring the importance of handling this material with care.
