Bender Visor

Bender Visor

This is the visor/eyes component for a life-sized Bender head that will make a big impact. The head would be 200mm OD, fitting snugly along the curve of this visor. There are three parts to this print that need to come together seamlessly: * The Visor shell itself is 8mm thick with a 4mm lip on the inside where other parts can stack perfectly. * A lens template sits atop the interior 4mm lip, featuring curves that fit precisely within the shell. This part can be made from clear acrylic, Tap Plastic LED acrylic, or smoked acrylic - I'll use it as a guide to trim acrylic to exacting specifications. * A retention ring is similar to those found in watches or lenses, holding components securely inside the tube shape of the visor. At least two will need to be printed, with one serving as a spacer between the acrylic lens and electronics and the other retaining the electronics in place. I'll likely drill and tap threaded holes into these rings for added stability. TinkerCad file can be accessed at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/8KIqSY9dSTO
