Standing at approximately 100mm tall (though adjustable), Bender Bending Rodriguez, or Bending Unit 22 and serial number 2716057, is a central character in the animated TV show Futurama. Co-created by Matt Groening and David X. Cohen, he is voiced by John DiMaggio. Filling a comedic antihero role, Bender is described by fellow character Leela as an "alcoholic, whore-mongering, chain-smoking gambler". Constructed in Tijuana, Mexico, Bender's dialogue often includes anti-human sentiments like "kill all humans", unless the target is on his exclusive "Do Not Kill" list which includes Fry and Hermes. Despite his aggressive demeanor, Bender occasionally shows a compassionate side, hinting at depth beyond his bravado.
