Inspired by prints from Joel - The 3D Printing Pro It's pretty wild to see someone drinking from his head without the top. This can also be used to hide what you're drinking. Choose either with a hole in the bottom or without. The hole in the bottom is for sweat to drip out, prevent suction, and let you push the can out. Select bottom closed to prevent any leaks. This version can be used as a drinking cup, if you feel safe enough to drink from your print and possibly get the top and bottom pieces to seal shut. How I Designed It Blender 2.76a, Bender Bust by cerberus333, LoboCNC Can Thermos (No Longer Available) I'm not a big fan of using the Boolean function when modeling for 3D printing, so I tried something different. I had to remove the outer shells of the Soda Can Thermos by LoboCNC. I scaled and separated Bender's head into two sections by duplicating it and removing the opposite pieces from each file. Next, I needed to painstakingly combine each matching edge with new faces and add a hole through the antenna for a straw. (6.5mm diameter straws from Sonic Drive-In) After my first print, I enlarged the diameter of the antenna to receive a larger straw. The threading was too close to the outer edge of the top half, so I adjusted it to prevent thin walls and possible holes. There were also faces behind the eyes of the original file that I removed for easier printing. I would recommend using a "Bendy" straw. (If too long, cut the straw just above the top of the antenna)
