The head of Bender was designed for 0% infill, vapor polishing, ensuring a lightweight and strong print that prints quickly with ease. The model weighs 38.3 grams, costing around $1.22 per gram for a large print. A new fixed version, benderHeadFixed2.stl, has cleaner geometry. Additionally, BenderHeadSplit2.stl is available for users with small bed printers who wish to print the part larger. This file also prints the antenna earlier and corrects an internal artifact issue in the head. Simply glue the antenna to the top of the head. For those experiencing issues with slicing programs, the original file can be used (while a new version has been provided without internal faces causing problems). However, the recommended file is benderHeadFixed2.stl, which has a low poly count and the internal error of the original removed.
