Bender Bender Mac Cable Suspender

Introducing Bender's head on a MacBook Pro Retina 15" cable holder! To create this model, I first found a Bender's head image in Photoshop, distorted it into shapes for each facial feature. Then, imported the .psd file to Inkscape via a plugin and placed each shape on a layer, adjusting them to be flush with neighbors. To ensure only straight lines, I converted each path. Exported the .dxf file and used OpenScad to create an object by importing the same .dxf file with different layers, extruding at various heights. After fixing any issues in Netfabb Basic, a .stl file was produced. Here's hoping for more user-friendly 3D printing workflows and tools in the future!
