Bend Spiral Bowl Advanced cnc/laser

Bend Spiral Bowl Advanced cnc/laser

After giving feedback on my first Bend Spiral Bowl, I began researching ways to improve it and make building easier. This led to a breakthrough that took several prototypes and an entire day: by soaking the wood in water and heating it up in the microwave oven, I discovered a game-changing technique. I used a suitable bowl to bend the arms into position, just like last time. But this time, I found out that brackets are completely unnecessary. When cooled and dried, the arms stay in place with just a small drop of wood glue holding them secure. My build was created on a desktop CNC machine by Stepcraft using 6 mm birch plywood and a spiral-toothed 1.2 mm flute. For more inspiring designs, visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/.
