So the original goal for this project was to design a car shaped Benchy alternative, while teaching myself how to use Fusion360. In terms of putting the 3D printer through its paces, I would say the overhang and the bridging should provide enough challenge, if not overly difficult; however I am not sure if there is enough challenge as a torture test in other aspects such as stringing and accuracy. Would definitely love to receive feedbacks on how the design can be improved further to serve as a better print test. In terms of the aesthetics... the main body with the curved surfaces are all finished using the Fusion360 while the mechanical parts (wheels, wings, etc...) are added on using Shapr3D. Obviously there are much improvements needed but as far as first project goes I think it served its purpose. Again, as a car enthusiast wanted something I wanted to calibrate my printer with something that I would actually like to keep afterwards, and when it seemed like there wasn't anything that fulfills both traits, I decided to design my own. Would love to hear any feedback regarding how this model could be improved as a torture test!
