Benchy Launcher - Trebuchet Style

Benchy Launcher - Trebuchet Style

I built a small trebuchet for the kids to have some fun. The majority of it is made from scrap wood - oak, cherry, and walnut - measuring approximately 18 inches long by 9 inches tall by 6 inches wide. I used 1/4 inch brass rod for the arm pivot, but these parts might not be much help as they were specific to the materials I had on hand. All holes are for M3 screws. It looks like it fires a Benchy around 9 to 10 feet with a 26 ounce (737 gram) counterweight. Good luck.
