Benchy-inspired Train (for BRIO/IKEA/...) no Supports

prusaprinters

Prints without supports.Needed parts:2x Magnets 6x3mm (6mm diameter, 3mm thick)7x M3x12mm Screws (black screws with flat heads work the best)7x M3 Washers (6x to get some distance between wheels and body + 1x between "Base-Main" and "Base-Steering")The Magnets don't need glue - just slide them in (pay attention to N/S poles for compatibility with your other trains…).Dont overtighten the screws to allow for movement. Maybe use some CA glue to fix the screws after cutting the threads with the screws. The holes are 2.75mm in diameter in this design.Use two 7mm long pieces of filament to allign the upper parts for gluing. And the best part: You can use the Plate.stl to make your own remix as it has the same dimensions used as base of the “topping” 😊Update: Improved “Topping.stl” - smaller files 850kB and less are outdated.
