Benchtop Essentials Tool Holder, Pliers, Screwdrivers and Caliper
thingiverse
I was looking to organize my cutters and pliers when I stumbled upon suzysheer66's plier holder brackets, which perfectly fit what I needed. Since I didn't have any plastic or wooden dowels, I repurposed the old shafts from my Prusa MK2 for use. To accommodate the 8mm printer shafts, I adjusted the openings on the brackets to 8.3mm and built a tool caddy platform with compartments tailored to the tools I frequently use. Additionally, I added a small bucket for a digital caliper that can be placed at either end. This is an excellent way to utilize old printer rods, giving this tool stand substantial weight even when it's not loaded with tools, making it a heavy-duty, compact all-in-one workbench tool holder. The design can be easily modified to suit comparable rods or dowels you may have on hand and the specific types of tools you use most often.
