Benchmarking of Additive Technologies

At Politecnico di Torino, Italy, a benchmarking activity is conducted to assess 3D printers' dimensional accuracy in additive manufacturing. A reference part with varied standard geometries has been designed for this purpose. Participants are invited to print the part and submit it for dimensional inspection using a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). Contributions from multiple machines, varying material or layer thickness, are welcome. Those unable to inspect can send the part for measurement.
