In parks across America, human beings are known to sit on these long sets of seats. They come equipped with arms at either end and cushions for people's posteriors. Many feature backs which allow people to lean back when tired. In warm weather they offer a cool place to take refuge. Most benches found in parks will have armrests that extend beyond the back, where users can rest their hands or elbows. Some also feature an additional horizontal seat running at mid-depth below, providing another space for someone else. Many types are equipped with trash and recycling receptacles attached underneath, though these may vary widely between styles and settings. Benches designed for a single person typically sit low to the ground and usually only offer support at one end, unlike others found in parks. Some even have metal frameworks surrounding the back, creating additional structure while keeping the seat visible from far away when seen by walkers going past by walking down a pathway that leads up towards where these set-up rest stations are located right off path within green area surroundings everywhere throughout US cities including smaller towns like those found nearby large city areas too outside urban boundaries which aren't yet considered full townships although people still come visit regularly for their community's annual fair celebrations each year because there is always free food giveaways given out freely under picnic tables that usually belong right near park itself where walking trails loop connecting back towards big grassy field area with playgrounds situated further off distance giving room breathing space allowing little ones burn excess energy out loud shouting playing freely while their parents sit relaxing observing surroundings fully enjoying time spent as one.
