Inspired by TD3D I made my bench vise pads fitting to my bench.

It has notches for better fixation of round objects. For a better fixation on the bench there is the possibility to add 3 pieces of magnets 3 x 10 mm at the upper side. They can basically just be pressed in, additionally I added some glue.

The bench vise clearing is 126.0 x 22.0 x 11.5 mm

Users of FreeCAD can use the model file to adjust parameters in the spreadsheet params like:

dimensions of bench vise

dimensions of magnets

dimensions of pipe notches

Printing needs support, I propose to print it either like in the model or turned by 180° in order not to stress the layer adhesion.

For material I have taken PETG with 100% infill.

Since V1.1.0 you can create also models without magnets and pipe notches. This variant I have printed in TPU with 100% infill for fixing sensitive objects.

Version History

V1.1.0

Added “flexible version” without magnets and pipe notches

V1.0.0

Intial version
