The project's objective was to create a 5-axis micro-machinery for precision milling and drilling of steel and aluminum, boasting dimensional tolerances under 1 μm and surface roughness below 1 nm. Motor integration, safety features, frame construction, and driving mechanisms were all included in the design, making it ready for manufacturing. Key team members include George Christoforidis, Tryfon Routoulas, Theodoros Apergis, Raduan Al-Kheir, and Christiana Tamvaki.
