<p>My test track is only 10 ft so I decided to make a set of rollers to test locomotives.</p><p>You will need:</p><p>Standard 608 8x22x7 “skateboard” bearings</p><p>If you want to draw power from the track, a bit of K&amp;S brass #815026 1/32” x 1/8” brass strip stock bent like an “L” can be pushed in as shown.</p><p>These can be used on their own but are more stable when set atop a length of track or press fit on 1/8” x 1” bar stock.</p><p>The “Sloppy” version uses 8.5mm pins to accommodate cheap skate bearings on eBay that have a larger inner diameter don’t fit snugly on the pins.</p>
