I created this from [this design](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2787768), adding screw pass-through and fixture holes, so that instead of being mounted with glue or double-sided tape, it could be securely attached using a screw to a wood shelf. You'd typically use at least two of these, with the open portion facing up, and drape through or wrap the cable(s) inside the fixture. You can employ them to route cables to the side of the working area, to keep them in place when not in use, basically all kinds of management issues that come up when you have test gear in operation. When using to route cables down one side or another of benchwork, mount so that the open section of the fixture is away from you. This way, when the cables are pulled towards the benchwork, they won't be nudging up against the opening and potentially getting out. You can also use this for filament management / routing. Make sure not to over-tighten the screw, PLA may deform.
