Convert the atx psu to a bench psu by attaching it to your case! A bumper fits snugly into place on the case, securing everything in its proper position. Connect a 10-ohm resistor to the 5-volt line and draw one amp of current - this keeps the psu busy and stabilizes the supply. Adding output capacitors rated at 1000uf and 25v to each supply rail will provide additional stability and filtering. This project was created using Tinkercad, a free online 3D design tool.
