Ben Skywalker's Lightsaber

I'm Looking for Images of Ben Skywalker's Lightsaber, but There's No Agreement on Its Design. Since He Only Appears in a Handful of Books, I Decided to Draw Inspiration from His Family's Lightsabers. The models that caught my eye combined elements from both his dad's (Luke Skywalker) and mom's (Mara Jade) lightsabers, so I borrowed the best parts of those designs. Starting with the lower half and emitter of CaseStudyno8's Lukeskywalker Lightsaber was a good choice - it only needed a few tweaks to get it right. The pommel and midsection stayed largely intact, except for some added holes to accommodate more buttons. Buttons are always a cool feature on lightsabers, and I couldn't resist adding a bunch of them. They may not be useful, but they're still pretty awesome. To create the middle grip, I used alternating large silver and smaller black rings, similar to those found on Mara Jade's lightsaber. Next up was the upper half, which required some modifications to the emitter and additional pieces to get it just right. With the upper and lower halves complete, it was time to add the finishing touches - a bunch of buttons! You'll need three small buttons, two large grips, and three small grips to complete the project. Everything is printed in the orientation shown, with the Switch Top requiring supports. A raft was also necessary to keep some of the smaller pieces in place during printing. Print Settings Printer: Homemade Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20%
