Ben-Day Dot Tracers

Ben-Day Dot Tracers

thingiverse

This is a tool created to help my students make accurate Ben-Day dots in a project about the artwork of Roy Lichtenstein. This solved the challenge of making evenly spaced, consistently sized dots that look like they were made by a printer. There are two versions of the tracer. The first iteration had all of the dots lined up in rows and columns while version 2 has offset rows that are even more accurate to the appearance of real Ben-Day dots.
