Belted Extruder v4 - 2.85mm / 3mm The Belted Extruder v4 is a high-performance Geared Extruder that utilizes a GT2 Belt and Aluminum Pulleys to achieve optimal accuracy, resolution, and power. This innovative design represents an updated version of my previous creation, the Belted Extruder V3. The original BEv3 model employed larger bearings for improved stability, but I have since refined this concept by incorporating a "full length" configuration that allows for horizontal mounting. This versatile setup caters to diverse user needs and preferences. Proven Record I have been utilizing the v3-4 design for over a year now, and it has consistently demonstrated exceptional reliability. My first printed prototype in PLA is still operational, showcasing its durability and long lifespan. Furthermore, numerous users worldwide have successfully implemented these extruders, with several companies even incorporating them into their printer-farms due to their cost-effectiveness and minimal maintenance requirements. What is a Belted Extruder and Why Aluminum Pulleys? A Belted Extruder is a unique type of geared extruder that leverages two aluminum pulleys and a belt to drive the filament drivebit.
