Belted extruder

Belted extruder

Simple belt-driven extruder, originally designed for the Geeetech i3, was inspired by Itty Bitty Belted Extruder and Belted Extruder v.3 for 1.75. Important notice! The hobbed bolt used in this extruder is shorter than a standard M8 hobbed bolt. To maintain the small size of the extruder, I employed a regular M8 hobbed bolt, filing its head and threading it as shown in the picture. This method works, but the generic hobbed bolt has a smaller diameter than 8 mm, creating a small gap (this can be solved with a layer of sellotape). You could use a standard hobbed bolt, but you would need a standoff.
