Belt tensioner

Belt tensioner

thingiverse

Inspired by psync's Ultimaker Belt Tensioner (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10034), I designed my version without requiring a screw. However, be aware that some users have reported an issue with Roboteer's Paperclip belt tensioner (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4535) due to insufficient space between the new style Ultimaker slider blocks and belts, causing interference. To assemble my tensioner, attach it to the belt (as shown in the picture) so that it doesn't hinder movement. For adjusting tension, modify the part's thickness or post width accordingly; less tension requires thinner parts, while increased difficulty in hooking on may necessitate a longer part.
