I designed a simple belt tensioner to replace my spring tensioners, which consisted of just one printed part held in place by a cable tie that pulls the belt tighter. The result is a shortened belt length of approximately 11mm, roughly half an inch, taking up about the same amount of space as the previous spring tensioners I used.
