Belt Tensioner

Belt Tensioner

thingiverse

This attachment is designed for tightening belts. It works on both the x and y axes of most printers depending on how they're set up. The belt passes through one hole and then ties itself in place with zip-ties. A second zip-tie goes through the other hole and into the carriage's designated slot where the belt usually resides. Tightening this zip-tie provides the desired tension. This print is simple and quick, but it cannot be loosened once tightened. Make sure you know exactly how much tension your printer needs before applying too much pressure. ###Required Attachments: - 2x zip-ties Design files for Fusion 360 are included if you'd like to make any changes. Please upload them as a remix so others can see what you've done! If you spot any issues with this attachment, let me know in the comments and I'll do my best to update it accordingly.
