Belt Tensioner - Idle Pulley for Prusa Mendel I2
thingiverse
To install, use two 608 bearings and an 8mm smooth rod along with M6 bolts & nuts, plus 4-32 screws & nuts. No disassembly of the threaded rod frame is required. Tighten the belt to your desired tension then secure at the preferred angle using nuts/washers on the frame. I retained my old 608 bearing idler on the threaded rod as a washer between nut and tensioner. Printing instructions: use support for smaller pieces while larger parts print well without it; optimal layer height is .2mm.
