The CR-10S Pro Dual Z timing belt sync by Urnzwy performed exceptionally well, but the belt experienced excessive slackness that caused teeth skipping issues. To rectify this problem, I reengineered StvPtrsn's tensioner from the CR-10 Dual Z Pully Setup and adapted it to attach on both sides of the extrusion. This modification allows for precise adjustments to achieve optimal tension levels, utilizing a tiny idler pulley: 3mm Bore Aluminum Timing Belt Idler Pulley for 3D Printer 6mm Width. With minimal tension applied to remove slackness, the belt no longer skips teeth. This straightforward alteration can be easily implemented on any printer featuring a belt alongside a 2020 extrusion by simply slicing off the excess material and sliding it up or down to accommodate the desired height of the belt.
