Belt tensioner for Artillery Sidewinder X1 (Z-axis)
cults3d
This is a belt tensioner for the Artillery Sidewinder X1. Unlike other models, it does not need any sliding blocks. It is only inserted into the groove of the upper profile of the Z-axis portal. The mechanism then spreads out by the TWO M4 screws, and then sits nice and tight. For the bearing of the belt I simply took the collar bearings from the original spool holder.... so the belt is also fixed laterally. The parts list refers to a belt tensioner, I have installed two pieces on my Sidewinder, but with a single it should also work. The belt tensioner should also fit any other printer with a syncronized Z-axis that has the standard profiles installed. Here's what you'll need for mounting: 1x base .STL 1x Spacers and nuts .STL 2x collar bearing from coil holder (or similar) 2x M4x16 bolt (longer and shorten if necessary) 1x M5x20 bolt (or longer) 1x tap M5 1x tap M4 The assembly sequence of the track roller is as follows: M5 bolt > bearing > small distance > bearing > medium distance > base > wing nut. The two large distances are for the M4 screws (shown in the picture).
