Belt Tensioner, adjustable R3
thingiverse
You are referring me to revision 3 on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:677297 Added teeth to the parts that go together for a non-slip hold. This design starts with the idea of taking a spring-type belt tightener and making it adjustable and sturdy. It is specifically made for GT-2 belts. The OpenScad files are included so you can customize them how you like. To Make One: Print one A and one B to have a pair. Use 0.20mm layers or thinner, with infill of 100%. You will need: 1 allen cap screw (3/16-32) that is eight millimeters long 1 spring washer (3 mm in diameter) 1 molly nut (m3 size) After the print is finished you may need to clean up some things between the parts so they fit together well. You should put this belt tightener right near the moving part on your thing.
