Belt Tension Gauge
prusaprinters
Filament type and print density will create variations to this tension gauge. PETG is recommended. It is only a indicator of relative tension. The Fusion 360 files will give you the ability to adjust for belt widths or other belt lengths used on other belt driven equipment. Laser engravers, Delta printers or CoreXY machines. NOTE: This is NOT a Calibration tool but just a way to view and compare tensions. Now once you’ve printed it and have used it and gotten reading compared to tensioned belts you should have an idea of the area on your gauge that is the normal range. This dependents on the filament’s rigidity used to print it. If the filament used makes it read higher than it should then thicken it in the z on the lever bar pivot point and reprint . If it reads lower than should be then thin it on the pivot point.
