Belt Tension Gauge
thingiverse
I've designed a fantastic gadget by taking an existing device and making some key improvements. The core of the instrument remains great, but I've added two bearings to each end to minimize belt friction, allowing for more precise and consistent readings. To replicate this project, you'll need a few extra components beyond the spring (refer to Calviniba's original post). I utilized small flanged bearings with 3mm inner and 10mm outer diameters. M3 x 20mm bolts were used to secure everything in place, along with M3 washers positioned between the top, bearing, and base components to ensure smooth operation. The base and indicator have undergone modifications, while keeping the stick component intact.
