Belt Idler Pulley and Holder for X and Y Axis

Belt Idler Pulley and Holder for X and Y Axis

thingiverse

I designed a basic belt idler using two 624zz (4mmx13mmx5mm) bearings and a holder for the idler after my X and Y axis belt idler bearings popped. I've also included the original Solidworks files so you can modify or change the parts to fit your needs. Update: November 23, 2016. I added a slot into the base of the idler arm holder to fit an M3 nut inside it, and changed the wall angle on the idler pulley from 50 to 70 degrees. The latest CAD files have Rev1.0 in their names. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap. Printer: Geeetech. Rafts: Doesn't Matter. Supports: No. Resolution: 0.2. Infill: 20. Post-Printing: Place two 624zz bearings into the idler pulley and secure them with an M3 bolt to the handle.
