Belt Holder - Obi-Wan Kenobi Light Saber

Belt Holder - Obi-Wan Kenobi Light Saber

I have an Obi-Wan costume and needed a reliable way to secure my light saber on my belt. Fortunately, this design worked out perfectly for me, and I was able to move around without any issues while standing or walking. However, when bending down or crouching, the light saber would sometimes hit my leg and fall out of its holder, so keep that in mind when using this. The first modification I made was to the lower chamber, which initially lacked a hole for the button to be placed squarely on the outside. I adjusted it to allow for better button placement, making it easier to assemble. If you've already completed your light saber, you might be able to get away with using a similar design and attaching it with plenty of glue. The "button" itself was modified to accommodate the proper spacing for the PLA holder that attaches to the belt. However, I still needed to print the button center from the original design. Lastly, I designed the belt piece to fit around my existing belt, but you may need to make adjustments depending on your chosen belt. I printed the belt piece solid with minimal infill to give it extra strength, which resulted in a small gap at one end where the printer didn't cover between layers. Applying some glue fixed the issue, but you might want to experiment with a fill percentage that's not entirely solid to avoid this problem.
