Belt driven Z-Axis / Worm Gear Mount

This is the Worm Gear Mount that I use for the Z-Axis on my TEVO Tarantula. The worm gear prevents the x-axis beam from falling onto the print (or heatbed) after the motors are switched off or in case of a power failure. I've prepared a short version that simply sits on a 2020 beam and versions with longer "legs" to connect a 2020 beam with a 2040 beam. Choose the one with one short side if you don't want to lose any build height on the Tarantula. All parts can be printed without supports! Use flat washers for the screws that connect the worm gear mount to the 2020 beam, and avoid overtightening or the mount will break. Watch this thing to get updates! Post your "I Made Ones"! Comment! Remix! Fix things I messed up! The worm gear's transmission ratio is 1:20, with a pulley that has 20 teeth. Therefore, the transmission ratio is the same as in the original setup, and you won't need to make any changes to the Tarantula's firmware.
