This design offers two smart options to keep your Toyota PRIUS smartkey securely attached to your belt at all times. It provides full access to buttons without the need to remove it ever. The One-Piece design is quick and easy to use; simply print and go, as it works with most belts. However, be aware that clip may not apply enough pressure when wearing jeans without a belt. This is why I decided to try an alternative design. The Clip Press design performs much better with or without a belt, utilizing a spring to maintain continuous pressure. Although it's more complicated to print due to its two-part construction (body + clip), it also requires a spring and a 2mm diameter metal axle, along with some assembly skills. Choose the right option for your needs. PRIUS model 2015 applies; I'm not sure how much other models have changed. Print Settings: Printer: Mendelmax Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.5 mm Infill: 40% Notes: The design requires Supports during printing, so try to minimize them by rotating the model; I recommend rotating the body 90 degrees over the Y axis. Post-Printing: Use a commercial hair clip to retrieve the spring from there. How I Designed This: The Need: It was my first time owning a car with Smartkey, which is very practical but had a major drawback - the "package" was too large for use on a keychain and often got lost in my pocket. Inspiration struck when I saw someone propose a solution on Thingiverse, although it wasn't aesthetically pleasing.
