Belt Clip for Minimed Insulin Pump

Feel free to share and edit. I tried out other options on Thingverse, but they were poorly done and underwhelming. The Medtronic Minimed 512, 522, 523, 530, and 530G pump belt clip holder bracket replacement is designed to replace the clip that commonly breaks at its hinge points. This DIY fix requires you to reuse the old metal parts, specifically the axle rod and spring. My attached image shows a spring from a clothespin used as a substitute, but this particular spring isn't ideal. The new clip is engineered to be stronger than the original, ideally made from ABS, although my first attempt was made with PLA and proved surprisingly robust. Users of #OpenAPS will appreciate these replacements for keeping their 522 and older 523 pumps securely attached. Original design shown in the foreground, highlighting its broken state.
