Belt clamp for Mostly Printed CNC / MultiTool
thingiverse
**Update 8/27/2015** After witnessing the remix of this thing on Thingiverse, I created a rev2 version of the grooved clamp incorporating this idea and making the hole and edges rounder. I also added some welds around the clamp to make it more solid. Here are three different options for a belt clamp to use instead of one zip tie at the corner blocks or attach to the hook on that thing. I am currently assembling this on my machine, and the second and third photos show it attached using the standard method and the Mechanical Belt Tensioner option. It appears that it will not work well with the Mechanical Belt Tensioner as that clip hits the bearing on the side that gets closer to the end. The long version clamp is probably too long to use with this, but I included it in case it might be useful for some other project. These belt clamp designs originated from two things on Thingiverse.
